Eid Al Adha is a Muslim feast and festival. Sheep and goats are sacrificed to commemorate Allah's deliverance of Ishmael through his providing of a ram to be offered in Ismael's place. Children are encouraged to watch the slaughter in order to impress upon them the significance of the event.

These images from Eid were made in the Palestinian town of Ar-Ram in the West Bank.
